Ludacris old song is playing in my head. “When you see me on the highway get up out of my way.!”

It’s been almost five weeks since we landed in Vietnam, and I’m finally starting to get acclimated.

I don’t think I’ve actually recorded any new content in about two months, but I was very focused and disciplined in the last season, so I had more than enough videos to hold me down.

I’ve been back on the social media scene for about two years and four months now. I started The Ground Up Academy back in June 2024, and I feel like it has taken me this long to actually find my voice.

And that’s crazy to me.

Here’s what I mean when I say find my voice.

It’s not that I didn’t have anything to say. I’ve always had something to say. But I didn’t think I fully knew how to communicate my convictions. How I really feel about certain topics, certain mindsets, and the things I believe in.

I would show my wife some content, and she would say, “I really love this, but I still don’t think you’ve found your voice yet.”

I used to get so frustrated because I’m thinking, “What are you talking about?”

I finally get it, though.

AND NOW THAT I GET IT, THERE ARE NO BRAKES FOR ME.

I pray, “God, please fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Let the creativity You’ve given me flow out of me.”

And then I just go.

I don’t know where you are on your journey. Maybe you’ve been afraid to show up on social media, but you know God has been nudging you to do it.

My hope is that you’ll show up. That you’ll put in the practice and do the work.

Communication is one of the greatest gifts we have, and I believe that whatever you’ve been called to do, you were born in the time and place you were born for a reason.

AND I BELIEVE THIS IS THE ERA OF SOCIAL MEDIA.

As you can probably tell, that’s one of my convictions.

I don’t believe there’s a greater multiplier for communication right now than these platforms. And many of them are free to use.

All we have to do is pick up the phone, record, and post.

Think about the opportunity we have right in front of us!

I hope you get so creative and so consistent that somebody sees what you’re putting out and says…

“DANG, BOY! PUT ON THE BRAKES!” 😂
