2,500 A Day:Endless possibilities with the right system

Dec 14, 2023

In the photo above, you see a room that was the epicenter of my brand, Unapologetic Urban Gear. At the time, we were making $2,500 a day, a significant achievement. But what I envisioned was even greater. I knew that by implementing the right systems, we could double our daily earnings to $5,000, translating into nearly $2 million a year, all from a 1,500 square foot room.

So, why do I share this story? To emphasize the critical role that systems play in any successful business. Back then, I was facing the daily grind of working at Checkers & Rally‚Äôs Drive-In Restaurants and Arby’s while nursing my entrepreneurial ambitions. This balancing act made it challenging to maintain focus, but it also instilled in me a deep appreciation for the importance of systems.

When the time came to step out and run my own business, I was prepared. I had walked away from those jobs with a newfound understanding of systems and why they are vital in the business world. Building robust systems and placing the right people within them is the key to creating an operation that runs like a well-oiled machine.

Running a brand, especially a clothing brand, involves many moving parts. From photo shoots and videos to garment design, printing, and values, every detail matters. However, even if you manage to attract a flood of customers to your business, without efficient systems in place, how do you keep them?

The answer is simple: you need to do the work and build a solid foundation with systems. These systems will ensure consistency, quality, and reliability, providing your customers with an experience that keeps them coming back for more.

In the world of entrepreneurship, success often hinges on your ability to create and refine systems that make your business not just survive but thrive. So, whether you’re just starting your brand or looking to take it to the next level, remember that systems are the key to sustainable growth and long-term success.
